BIRTH MONTH INFLUENCES THE RISK OF ALLERGY

A group of researches of the Southampton University (United Kingdom) has been discovered that the time we are born has a direct relationship with the risk of to have allergies throughout life.

On this study, the scientific have explored samples of DNA from 367 babies born on a British Island called Wight. They have shown that some genes in relation with allergies still present after 18 years. Thus the babies born on cold seasons as winter or autumn  have more options to have an allergy, those born on summer o spring.

Also, they found other pathologies, for example, the people who born on autumn have more risk of suffer eczema (dermatitis) that the other people.

“Now we know that the birth date have influences on the people along his life. So those born in winter or autumn have more risk of suffer allergy-related diseases such as asthma” Recognizes studio head John Hooloway.
